❀ Aerith's father died a few months after her birth while her mother had a weak constitution, she died when Aerith was only eight years old. Her godmother was the one who raised her until the Heartless invasion when she was fourteen.

❀ Her mother used to own a flower shop which her godmother inherited after her death. Her father was a historian, who used to study Radiant Garden's history.

❀ Before Radiant Garden's destruction, Aerith and Cloud used to play and interact with each other. They only knew each other for half a year, at most.

❀ Food in Traverse Town, at first, was scarce, so Aerith had to make do with whatever they could find to eat. She was the type to be creative and experimental in the kitchen, but even with Hollow Bastion progressing into Radiant Gardens she can't seem to remove the habit of experimenting on food combinations, so the team decided to rotate the cooking duty between them.

❀ Aerith has always had a natural knack with healing spells, but it isn't after meeting Merlin that she learns to properly cast it and other spells.

❀ It is through Merlin and King Mickey that Leon and the others learn about the Ansem Reports, the Keyblade, and the Heartless.

❀ Other than being the healer of the group, Aerith has knowledge in other supporting and offensive spells. She relies heavily on a skilled warrior to do all the physical fighting; however she can hold her own against a small group of low level Heartless. She has great difficulties against the stronger or much bigger variety especially in a group. Her tactic in those crucial moments is to find a weak spot to escape from.

❀ Aerith's role in the Restoration Committee is to investigate, heal, and help the citizens find new homes or other needed supplies to build homes and businesses.

❀ While Leon and Yuffie are at the Olympus Colosseum, after they return to Hollow Bastion, she goes with them to cheer for them and Cloud (and later on Sora and his company when those two have been defeated).
☆ However, Aerith could never go with them when they were in Traverse Town. Most likely she learned about Cloud through Leon and Yuffie's stories over the opponents they found to be quite powerful.

❀ What she has learned from her pseudo family:
☆ Leon - the basics of self defense, improved her reflex abilities, tactic, and how to remain calm in the heat of battle.
☆ Yuffie - to sneak past a horde of Heartless and improved her endurance.
☆ Cid - some knowledge in gummi ship mechanics, computers, and cooking.
☆ Merlin - magic and investigation.
